Adapting to Change

Our built environment must be able to adapt to – and mitigate against – social and environmental pressures caused by local and global changes.

Climate adaptation – Supporting innovations that allow built assets to respond to changing external influences and threats, including flooding, temperature change and other natural hazards.

Community Development – Aiding the development of supply chains that will deliver the homes and other buildings and services needed in informal and low-income communities.

Post-Disaster Recovery – Supporting humanitarian and development organisations engaged in reconstruction in vulnerable communities, and rebuilding livelihoods following traumatic events.
