The learning and skills programme ensures that the outputs from BRE Trust funded research can be used to create new training modules that support the learning needs of professionals in our industry, now and in the future.
The programme focuses on:
Identifying future skill gaps
Extending static knowledge to active learning by increasing certified training provision
Aligning and partnering with relevant skills providers to ensure consistency of validated content and maximise outputs
To ensure the relevance of the BRE Academy courses among professional working across the built environment, we have strengthened its relationships with other memberships institutions and is an approved training provider for CIAT, IEMA, and RIBA. Working with these organisations enables the BRE to cross promote activities and extend the impact reach to a wider group of audience.
BRE Publications though the BRE Bookshop are totalled nearly 5300, and have reached over 71,000 downloads in the last year. The active dissemination and promotion of the new topic continues its positive growth. Find out more from BRE Bookshop.

BRE organised and promoted numerous leaderships conference which tackled some of the major issues facing sectors across the built environment. Including BIM Prospects, Build4Quality, Connected City, City Infrastructure, Healthy Buildings, Offsite Outlooks, Resilience, Retrofit4Change and etc.
The BRE BIM Approved Graduate (AG) is a new higher education programmes is designed to fill a recognised gap in the BIM Training currently offered in higher education. Universities will be able to to licence the course and integrate it into their existing modules. The programmes will train students to become BIM Professionals and fast track them to certification.
